Joia leads Putnam’s operations team, bringing extensive strategy and operational expertise from across the healthcare industry. She spent the first decade of her career as a consultant at Putnam, advising pharmaceutical clients across a range of therapeutic areas and strategic business initiatives. Prior to returning to Putnam in 2024, Joia held operational leadership roles within biotech and medical software companies. In these roles, she worked to commercialize novel offerings across multiple sectors including digital health and wellness.
Joia has a track record of scaling client services organizations in both public and private market settings, helping to drive top- and bottom-line growth. She is well versed in collaborating with diverse corporate and academic stakeholders to accelerate innovation and process improvement.
Joia has an MBA from Harvard University and a Chemical-Biological Engineering degree with minor in Creative Writing from MIT.
