Sarah works as a Director in the Health Economics & Outcomes Research team at Putnam. She is responsible for managing and delivering patient reported outcomes projects to meet client needs, including projects to estimate treatment and condition economic and quality-of-life burden, vignette health-state valuation, and discrete choice experiments in a wide variety of therapeutic areas from ophthalmology to rare conditions. Sarah’s expertise also encompasses statistical analysis and primary data collection with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals (i.e., survey research, qualitative research). Sarah also has an active role at Putnam supporting clients with external dissemination of research findings at international conferences (e.g., developing conference abstracts and presentations/posters) and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
Sarah completed both her undergraduate degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and Master’s degree in Health Economics at the University of York. She was also awarded a PhD in Health Economics from Newcastle University.
